In 2012 Miller saw the hardship that local real estate agents were enduring due to the Great Recession. Wanting to ease the burden for real estate agents living pay check to pay check, Miller formed Advanced Commission, a real estate commission advance company offering real estate agents a reliable cash flow solution. Advanced Commission was widely successful, providing commission advances on over $20 million of real estate transactions in the state of Florida alone before being acquired by a private equity firm in 2015.
